The Applus+ Laboratories packaging laboratory in Barcelona is one of the few labs in Spain certified to test ISTA standards, used by the main logistics, distribution and e-commerce companies, including Amazon and FedEx, amongst others.
The ISTA (International Safe Transit Association) testing standards represent the main benchmark in the packaging industry. They serve to prevent the main problems related to the transport and distribution of all types of products.
Applus+ Laboratories has an advanced laboratory dedicated to testing the characteristics of containers and packages, as well as simulating the transport of products, including hazardous materials. Located in Barcelona, it is one of just a few Spanish laboratories certified to test ISTA standards.
