Applus+ Laboratories has officially inaugurated its new state-of-the-art testing and certification facility in Qingpu, Shanghai, marking a significant milestone in its strategic expansion across the Chinese market. The new hub strengthens the company’s ability to support innovation and accelerate product development in fast-growing, technology-driven industries.

Developed over the past 2.5 years, the facility is designed to host more than 100 highly qualified professionals as operations continue to scale. It will serve as a key center supporting customers across China and the broader Asia-Pacific region with greater proximity, efficiency, and reliability.
The inauguration was attended by Applus+ CEO Richard Bartlett and Applus+ Laboratories Head Mauricio Ubeda Soriano, together with Josep Prat Solergibert, Country Manager of Applus+ Laboratories in China, the Consul General of Spain in Shanghai, Mr. Luis Antonio Calvo Castaño, as well as customers and partners who celebrated this important milestone with the team.
