As of July 1, 2024, Applus+ LEM is integrated into the company APPLUS METROLOGY, S.L. and begins to use the Applus+ Laboratories brand in all communication materials.
Founded in 1997 as Ensayos Metrológicos S.L., with a registered office in Rubí (Spain), Applus+ LEM became part of Applus+ Group in 2019, specifically as part of the Applus+ Laboratories Division.
Applus+ LEM is a metrological verification body authorised throughout the national sphere.
It is also an EU-notified body in charge of evaluating the conformity of automatic and non-automatic weighing instruments (scales).
In addition, it has the acknowledgement from the Spanish Accreditation Agency (ENAC) pursuant to the standard ISO 17025 for the calibration of measurement equipment of different magnitudes.
Applus+ LEM has an ENAC-accredited calibration laboratory for mass and volume magnitudes.
It also offers on-site calibration services, as well as the verification of different equipment units, at customers’ premises.
Applus+ LEM has been designated as a Metrological Verification Authorised Body. Our inspectors, who work throughout the Spanish territory, carry out the periodic legal verification and subsequent repair and/or modification of the following equipment units:
