SINTONIA Project

03/10/2013
Unmanned Systems Oriented to Null Environmental Impact. This project has been funded by the CDTI – CENIT Programme.
The aim of the SINTONIA project is the acquisition of new knowledge and the development of technologies that will reduce the environmental impact and increase the efficiency of unmanned aircrafts by means of radical improvements throughout their life cycle.
SINTONIA's consortium will research the measures necessary to radically reduce the environmental impact of this kind of planes at the same tme as providing an effective basis for the sustainable growth of this industry and the future certification-process.
The project is led by Boeing Research & Technology Europe with the collaboration of the main aerospace institutions in Spain and around the world.
Applus + will acquire the knowledge needed to conduct product-certification activities in the area of embeded critical software for avionics and in that of secure communications, as well as the opportunity to study elecromagnetic interference in sensors and embedded devices.
This project has been funded by the CDTI-CENIT Programme.
