Applus+ Laboratories is a strategic supplier of testing and engineering services for the leading OEMs and Tier 1 companies in the aerospace industry. Our network of laboratories allows us to adapt to the demands of aeronautical programmes’ delivery times. .
Testing
Applus+ Laboratories participates in several aeronautical programmes providing structures’ and materials’ characterisation as well as quality-control testing. Applus+ Laboratories specialises in the testing of composite structures and materials. We have a network of NADCAP-recognised laboratories in Europe, the USA and China, accredited for metallic-materials’ testing, non-metallic-materials’ testing and non-destructive testing.
Engineering & Development
Applus+ develops and manufactures customised test equipment (command test bays, mechanical test systems and hardware in the loop) to test hydraulic and pneumatic actuators and fuel, electric and electronic systems, among others. Our engineers also develop test rigs to perform static and fatigue testing on full-scale components.
Additionally, we provide engineering services and outsourcing solutions, including the co-location and operation of NDT automated machinery for the inspection of large composite airframe components.
