Applus+ Laboratories obtains authorization from the Spanish ANCC under the EUCC scheme

    Applus+ Laboratories has been officially authorized by the National Cybersecurity Certification Authority (ANCC) of Spain as an Information Technology Security Evaluation Facility (ITSEF) under the EUCC, the European cybersecurity certification scheme based on Common Criteria. 

    This new authorization complements the EUCC authorization we already held under the Dutch ANCC, strengthening our position as a trusted European laboratory for high assurance cybersecurity evaluations. 

    Our EUCC capabilities 

    High assurance evaluations: Authorized to perform evaluations up to AVA_VAN.5, the highest evaluation depth under EUCC.

     

    Technical scope, including:

    • Smartcards and similar devices 
    • Hardware devices with secure enclosures 
    • Generic ICT products 

     

    EUCC in the European cybersecurity landscape 

    The EUCC provides a harmonized framework for assessing the cybersecurity of ICT products across the EU and is expected to become one of the recognized conformity assessment routes under the upcoming Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)
