The GOM TriTop system (TRITOP) is an optical and mobile measurement system that can plot and analyze 3D coordinates of different object points using photogrammetry. TRITOP can then calculate 3D displacements and deformation of objects and components.
TRIPTOP replaces the conventional displacement measuring systems, or LVDTs, since it can capture displacements and deformations quickly without needing any cables or sensors on or around the object. This is important as it means there is no need to interfere with the object being tested.
