Applus+ Laboratories acquires ISCAL and strengthens its leadership in metrology in northern Spain

Founded in 1999, ISCAL specializes in the calibration and maintenance of precision instruments, as well as in the sale of measuring equipment for temperature, pressure, and humidity among many other parameters. The company has a team of 66 professionals and a solid client portfolio in highly regulated sectors such as pharmaceuticals, food, industry, and other markets including heating (HVAC), water, chemicals, energy, aerospace, and automotive.

ISCAL operates a laboratory accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 for the magnitudes of temperature, humidity, pressure, electricity, flow, mass, gases, and amount of substance (pH and conductivity) ensuring the highest level of technical rigor and compliance with the most demanding industry standards.

A strategic location for Applus+ Laboratories 

Metrology is a business with a strong local component, where territorial reach is essential to provide a close and agile service to customers. In this context, the integration of ISCAL represents a strategic step within the growth plan of Applus+ Laboratories, which has integrated 10 companies since 2017 in a market that remains highly fragmented.

Manuel Montes, founder of ISCAL, and his team will continue to lead the project, fully committed to the development and growth of the company within Applus+ Laboratories, ensuring the continuity of technical know-how, the team, and the relationship with customers.
