The alloy is a highly creep-resistant alloy with especially great high temperature tensile strength and a yield strength at elevated temperature up to approximately 750 °C, good toughness between 650 and 750 °C as well as with resistance to oxidation up to 1000 °C. Besides, it possesses excellent mechanical properties in the cryogenic temperature range as well as very good corrosion-resistance at high and low temperatures and good resistance to stress cracking corrosion and pitting. Application for pumps and other highly stressed components in offshore-installations and maritime-technology plants as well as for drilling equipment for the acid gas and oil production. For highly stressed construction components in gas turbines and rocket engines as well as for parts, such as springs, fasteners and components in nuclear reactors and for low-temperature containers.
