Mn increases the strength compared with pure aluminium, but it does not impair the corrosion resistance. The alloy belongs to the nature-hard aluminum materials. A strength increase can only occur by cold forming. It is not very well warm and cold formable, but is very well suitable to the deep-drawing (no lappet formation). Application: In the packing as breaking covers, for general metal goods and for metal-describe.
