No EN-JS3091 has a particilarly high resistance to corrosion, erosion and heat. The material shows a mean expansion coefficient. The material (international trading name: Ni-Resist D-4) is comparable to UNS F 43005 (USA). Application: for pumps, fittings, exhaust manifolds, turbicharger cases as well as for cast parts for industrial furnaces. It can be used for pressure equipment, e.g. compressor housings. The appropriate materials for pressure applications and the conditions of use are specified in special product standards or application standards. For the structuring of pressure equipment special construction guidelines applies. |
