The austenitic cast iron material is nonmagnetizable at a lower Cr-content. Increased thermal stability by addition of 1% molybdenum (mass content). Material (international trading name: Ni-Resist D-2) is comparable to UNS F 43000 (USA). Application: for pumps, valves, compressors, liner, turbicharger cases, exhaust manifolds, nonmagnretizable cast parts. I can be used for pressure equipment, e.g. compressor housings. The appropriate materials for pressure applications and the conditions of use are specified in special product standards or application standards. For the structuring of pressure equipment special construction guidelines applies. |
