It remains ductile up to -196°C and is nonmagnetizable. The austenitic cast material (graphite form: spheroidal, international trading name: Ni-Resist D-2M) is comparable to UNS F 43010 (USA). Application: for cast parts for refrigeration engineering (appl. up to -196°C). I can be used for pressure equipment, e.g. compressor housings. The appropriate materials for pressure applications and the conditions of use are specified in special product standards or application standards. For the structuring of pressure equipment special construction guidelines applies.≥ -196
