| 1) Remark: NiCr8020 is a resistance alloy. With wire, the attainable tensile strength is 650 N/mm². The alloy distinguishes itself by a high resistivity and by a relatively low temperature coefficient. The upper application temperature in air is 600 °C as resistance wire and 1200 °C as heater wire. NiCr8020 is scale-resistant and resistant to corrosion, and it is not ferro-magnetic. The alloy is well suitable for spot welding. With certain prerequisites, soft soldering and brazing are possible, too. Application: For high-ohm electric resistors and heater wires. |
