1) Remark: According to DIN EN 10295 : 2003-01, the highest application temperature in air is 900 °C for the material GX25CrNiSi18-9, material number 1.4825 (the former G-X 25 CrNiSi 18 9 according to DIN 17465 : 1977-09). The following is valid for the comparable DIN-material: The material shows great high-temperature tensile strength and insensibility to temperature variations application for furnace parts such as throttle valves, conveyor chains, retorts, annealing and hardening boxes, towing hooks, supporting trays, supporting bars, hot-gas ventilators. Durability: - with an oxidizing combustion atmosphere: 850 °C, - with a reducing combustion atmosphere: 750 °C, - with oxidizing gases containing sulphur: 750 °C, - with reducing gases containing sulphur: 750 °C.
