1) Remark: G20Mn5 shows compared to unalloyed cast steel grades higher values of the notch impact energy. Good weldability because of the low C content. By liquid quenching and tempering for wall thicknesses up to 40 mm the material is comparable with micro-alloyed steels. Both types can be welded in constructions. Application: impeller, brake discs, intermediate gears, steering swivels
