1) Remark: The material G-CuPb10Sn (former designation: G-SnPbBz10) is a bearing material of favorable sliding and flat-running properties, favorable wear and corrosion resistance. It is suitable as composite material. The alloy is applicated for edge loading floating bearings of high surface pressure, e.g. calender rolls, vehicle loader, bearings for hot-rolling mills. For top level loadings on good lubrication up to =6000 N/cm². For composite bearings in combustion engines. Loadings up to 10000 N/cm², e.g. piston pins and gear bushings as well as for washer disks. Processing properties: machinability: very good soft soldering: good hard soldering: unfavorable gas fusion welding: unfavorable burnishing (mech.): good galvanizing: good suitability for dip tinning: good
