1) Remark: G-CuPb10Sn (former G-SnPbBz10) is a bearing material. It is characterised by good sliding and dry-operating properties, good wear resistance and a high corrosion resistance. It is applicable as composite material. It is used as slide bearings with high surface pressures, where edge pressure can occur, like calendermills, bearings for for warm rolling mills. Bearings in combustine engines are stress up to 10000 N/cm^2 allowed, for example cock and gear sockets, awasher discs. Machining properties: very good Grindability: very good Soft soldering: good Hard soldering: poor Gas fusion welding: poor Gas-shielding welding: poor Grindability (mech): good Galvanisability: good Immersing tin-plating: good
