No CW104C, is counted among hardenable, low alloyed copper alloys. To the comparable make Cuco2Be, mat. No 2.1285, acc. to DIN 17666 : 1983-12 applies: CuCo2Be achieves compared to CuBe2 at slightly lower hardness and strength values higher electrical and thermal conductivity. The temperature for removal of workhardening approximates 500°C, high corrosion resistance. Processing properties: hot and cold forming: good machinability: moderately hard and soft soldering: good gas shielded welding: good burnishing: good Application: In relay and switch construction for high loadable, live springs and for radiant heaters at semi conductors. Furthermore for resistance and welding electrodes as well as for pistons, plunger and punching tools. For the electrolytically tinned strip the coatings (Sn bright, Sn matt, Sn fuzed, SnPb) are listed by the application (better solderability, better corrosion resistance, reduction of the electrical contact resistance, better appearance) in the DIN EN 14436 : 2004-11 (Table 5) | ≤ 350 |
