1) Remark: X37CrMoV5-1 is an alloyed hot worked tool steel. In the hardened and tempered condition, it reaches a minimum of 48 HRC. Use: especially well suited for tools for the processing of light metal alloys through extrusion. Also for diecasting moulds, cores and ejectors in light metal processing, mandrels and piercers in forging machines, dies and mandrels for the manufacture of screws, nuts and rivets.
