1) Remark: Material X2CrNiMo18-15-4 is comparable to X 2 CrNiMo 18 16 4 acc. to DIN 17440 : 1985-07. The steel shows due to its high molybdenum content (above 3 per cent) very good resistance to non oxidizing and halogenated media. It is resistant to intercrystalline corrosion also in sensitized condition. This material is suitable for mirror finishing and cold formable. Application in chemical apparatus engineering, especially in cellulose industry, in textile and rayon industry as well as in tankship construction.
