1) Remark: Valid for sheet, strip, seamless pipe, steel for shape and rod, flange, forging austenitic steel for rolling and forging X1NiCrMoCu25-20-5), material number 1.4539 for cold and warmforming, weldable Application: - from -196°C to 500°C, sheet, strip and rod up to 500°C for pressure vessels and pipelines according to AD 2000-data sheet W 2, W 9, W 10 and HP 100R - up to 400 °C for steam boilers according to TRD 101, TRD 102 and TRD 107 - from -60°C to 400°C for pressure gas tanks as per TRG - from -60°C to 400°C in nuclear power engineering as far as nuclear regulations or object-related specifications permit use Smelting: - electric arc process (if necessary treated in vacuum) - inductive oven process (if necessary treated in vacuum) - AOD-process - CLU-process - for all processes if necessary electric slag remelted according to DIN EN 10088-1 : 1995-08 applies: - comparable to X 1 NiCrMoCuN 25 20 5 according to SEW 400 : 1991-02 - high resistance to strongly attacking organic and inorganic acids - high resistance to pitting corrosion and wide resistance to stress corrosion - second best pitting index of all steels after 1.4529 (functional sum 39) - resistant to intercrystalline corrosion also in welded condition - Application in chemical and petrochemical industry, for flue gas desulfurizing plants, in cellulose and paper industry as well as for smokestack linings
