1.8863 (DIN 4227 : 1988-07) St 1420/1570 1.8863 DIN 4227 : 1988-07 DIN 4227 : 1988 replaced by DIN 1045-1 : 2001-07 Replaced Germany 1.1.1 1)
1) Remark: The prestressing steel St 1420/1570 is a quenched and tempered steel and will made as smooth or ribbed wire in the diameter area from 6 to 14 mm. It has a low relaxation, high toughness also at low temperatures and a good strength at high temperatures in the case of fire. Application: - round wire, smooth for bundle prestressing systems in the structural engineering, industry engineering and bridge building - round wire, ribbed for prestressing with direct bond (pre-fabricated parts), bundled anchors (ground and rock anchors) For prestressed concrete pre-finished wires are deliverable. The prestressed concrete St 1420/1570 ist zugelassen durch: Institut für Bautechnik Deutsche Bahn, Bescheid über Spannbetonschwellen ISO/DIS 6934-3. Prestressed steels have to be stored dry because of corrosion. Mechanical damages have to be avoided. Standards comparison: Sweden: SIS 1757-05 Great Britain: BS 2691, BS 5896 USA: ASTM-A 421, ASTM-A 648 Russia: GOST 8480
