| 1) Remark: The stainless sintered steel int-AF 40-150 (AISI 316 L corresponds to Cr-Ni-Mo-Stahl X2CrNiMo17-12-2, material number 1.4404), is used for highly porous construction components in filters, silencers and flame inhibitors. It is predominantly made of irregular powder. The material possesses the following properties (representative examples, guide values, valid for sintering in hydrogen) which must not be taken as guaranteed properties by law and which refer to a certain density and a certain chemical composition within the permissible range: - filter mesh size [µm] : 150 - specific permeability [10^-12*m²]: 140 (Values have been collected with the measuring arrangement: flow meter before the filter.) - shear strength [N/mm²] : 70 - chemical composition: [mass-%]: C: < 0.03, Cr: 16 to 19, Ni: 10 to 14, Mo: 2 to 4, others: < 2, Fe: rest. |
