| 1) Remark: PdAg30, also Pd70Ag30 or 70Pd30Ag, PdAg70 / 3 (see also: AgPd70 or Ag30Pd70, 30Ag70Pd, AgPd30 / 70) is a silver palladium powder material. Silver-palladium powders are the most important precious metal powders for the production of conductive electrodes in ceramic multilayer capacitors. They are applied to the green ceramic as composite blends, coprecipitates or solid solution with suitable binders and sintered and baked together. Depending on the ceramics used (sintering range 1000 to 1400 ° C., compositions of AgPd10, AgPd30 up to AgPd70 (= PdAg30) are used for increasing firing temperatures.) Especially for multilayer capacitors, silver-palladium powders of spherical grain form, high fineness and low specific surface area have been developed with which particularly thin and uniform electrode layers can be printed. In the case of PdAg30, the silver (Ag) shows an increase in hardness. Palladium and silver are infinitely miscible. |
