1) Remark: The aviation material NiCr20Co18Ti, material number 2.4632, can be found in the material specifications of the Deutsche Luftfahrt [German Aviation] 2.4632-1 : 1993-8, 2.4632-2 : 1993-8, 2.4632-3 : 1993-8, 2.4632-4 : 1993-8 and 2.4632-100 : 1993-8. DIN 17744 : 1973-01 (invalid) listed the material under material number 2.4969. The alloy can be precipitation hardened and is highly creep resistant and resistant to scaling up to approximately 1000 degrees C. It possesses good resistance to corrosion and oxidation at high temperatures. However, vanadine-pentoxide, sodium and sulfur compounds can lead to hot gas corrosion. It is used for highly stressed construction components, for example gas turbine shovels, parts of casings, after burner parts, discs, shafts, hot worked tools, sledge hammers, forging saddles, pressure tools, shearing blades, springs.
