1) Remark: The material NiCr16Fe7TiAl has a composition that is similar to that of NiCr15Fe7TiAl (material number 2.4669). The alloy is hardenable and possesses high tensile strength up to 600 °C as well as high creep strength and creep strength depending on time up to 820 dgrees C and high resistance to oxidation up to 980 °C. Application for components for stationaryand flying gas turbines, high-temperature fasteners, bolts and springs for control rods in nuclear reactors. Application besides for petrochemical processes, inter alia in the cracking of ammonia as part of the heavy water production process, as well as for low-temperature applications. Outlet valves in combustion engines are an important field of application. In this, the alloy offers high strength at operating temperatures, high elevated temperature hardness and, therefore, resistance to wear as well as to corrosion in hot exhaust gases containing lead oxide, sulphur, bromine and chlorine. Processing properties: Formability: good (annealed) Weldability: not common
