| 1) Remark: Ni99.6 (pure nickel) is, inter alia, a resistance material. With wire, the attainable tensile strength is 450 N/mm². The material distinguishes itself by a relatively low electric resistance and by a very high temperature coefficient of the electric resistance. The upper application temperature in air is 700 °C. Up to a temperature of approximately 350 degrees C, pure nickel is ferro-magnetic. Ni99.6 has very good scale-resistance, it has very good resistance to corrosion and is of good suitability for soft-soldering and brazing. Application: Preferably for the manufacturing of connections at heater elements. |
