| 1) Remark: The fully austenitic material G-X 25 MnCrNi 8 8 6 possesses a defined low value of the relative magnetic permeability of 1.02 maximum (for castings with a wall thickness of up to 50 mm). It is applied for construction components which an interference or shielding of a magnetic field must not occur at. The toughness of this material is good, its resistance to corrosion in water is bad, the cutting machinability is quite good, weldability is given. |
