1) Remark: The materials GS-21 Mn 5 P and GS-21 Mn 5 PG, a modification of the G21Mn5 (1.1138), are applicable for pressure vessels acc. to TRB 100 and AD-data sheets W5 and W 01 from -50 to 50 °C. and for valve bodys acc. TRB 801 No. 45. Further application in nuclear engineering as far as nuclear regulations resp. object-related specifications permit using from -50 to 50 °C. The welding suitability of the steel cast is examined allowing for the generally accepted engineering rules for metal arc welding with proofed type equal alkaline covered rod electrode. The preheating temperature amounts to minimum 100 °C, the max. intermediate layer temperature at 350 °C. Post welding anew quenching and tempering dependent from size and location of the welding area necessary or a stress-relieve annealing.
