1) Remark: GE240 is used for castings without special loading in the heavy mechanical engineering, gear engineering, agricultural machine engineering and automotive engineering, tool machine tool and processing machine engineering, e. g. for cases, hubs, bearing covers, bearing rings, bushes, brackets, plates. For static and dynamic loading the material is used for clutch cages, bearings, cradles, commutator hubs, rib base plates, pins, hollow shafts, cable pulleys, front wall, rotary seats.
