| 1) Remark: The stainless austenitic cast steel G-X 2 CrNiMoN 18 10, material number 1.4404 (with the same material number also wrought material X2CrNiMo17-12-2 acc. to DIN EN 10088-1 : 1995-08) was contained as G-X 2 CrNiMoN 18 10 in steel material specification SEW 410 : 1988-05 (invalid). This material is not listed anymore in the current edition SEW 410 : 1998-07. The weldability is given for metal arc welding with covered rod electrode and gas-shielded welding with welding wire or with cored wire electrode (preheating and post weld heat treatment is not necessary). Acc. to SEW 410 : 1988-05 resistance to intercrystalline corrosion in delivery condition, in welded and subsequently solution annealed and quenched condition as well as in welded condtion without heat after treatment. Application: This cast material is permitted acc. to VdTÜV-material specification 503 : 2001-03 for pressure vessels acc. to TRB and AD-data sheets A 4, W 5 and W 10 from - 196 to 350 °C. |
