1) Remark: G-CuPb20Sn (former G-SnPbBz20) is a bearing material. It is characterised by very good sliding, especially dry-operating properties by lack on lubrication or water lubrication. The material is used as composite cast material and is resistant against sulfuric acid. Compared to the G-CuPb15Sn (2.1182), the G-CuPb20Sn is not so well castable. The G-CuPb20Sn is used in bearings and castings, also at high sliding speeds, miller machines, water pumps, rolling mills, top loadings up to p = 4000 N/cm^2 with good lubrication. The alloy is used for corrosion resistant armatures and casting, for highly stressed bearings in combustine engines, for example for cock sockets up to p = 7000 N/cm^2 stress.
