1) Remark: G-CuPb15Sn (former G-SnPbBz15) is a bearing material. It is characterised by good sliding and dry-operating properties by lubrication with lubricator or water. The material is used as composite cast material and is resistant against sulfuric acid. Used for bearings without white metall, also for fused copper cooling tubes. Highest stress up to p = 5000 N/cm^2 by good lubrication. The alloy is also used for bearings in combustine engines, prefered cock sockets up to 7000 N/cm^2 stress and für acid resistant armatures and castings. Machining properties: Grindability: very good Soft soldering: good Hard soldering: poor Gas fusion welding: poor Gas-shielding welding: poor Grindability (mech): good Galvanisability: good Immersing tin-plating: good
