1) Remark: Material EN AW-Al SiMg(A) is produced for HF-welded tubes, for heat-exchanger prematerial, extruded and drawn components, for wire and prewire for mechanical applications. The food-safe alloy is used for forged parts and prematerial. To the comparable mark AlMgSi0,5, mat. No.3.3206, acc. to DIN 1725-1 applies: This natural and artificial agable material achieves strength values of 200 to 250 N/mm² at A5- ductile yield of approx. 10 %. Heat-treatment for hardening: solution annealing: 525 to 540°C, quenching in air or water natural aging: 5 to 8 d at RT artificial aging: 4 to 16 h at 155 to 190°C In natural or artificial aged condition the alloy is only limited formable but in soft material condition it is well formable. It shows a favorable weldability, corrosion resistance and anodizability. Due to its special suitability for extrusion there are many cross-sections for staticly loaded components which are usable in vehicle manufacturing, general machine engineering or construction trade. Application: for windows, doors, window walls, front plates, shutters, roll-up gates, carrying constructions, heat-exchanger ( finned pipes), commercial-vehicle bodies, machine benches, metal goods, food industry, equipment of rail vehicles, optics, reflectors, control devices in hydraulics/pneumatics, in machine engineering, hulls in boat and shipbuilding, traffic signs, trim strip and trim parts in construction, showers, fences and partition walls, pipelines in pressure-gas tanks, camping furniture.
