1) Remark: Naturally hard, not precipitation hardenable AlMg alloy with the highest strength and very good corrosion restistance. Application for structural railway (according to EN 13981-1/-2/-4): simple full sections due to limited cold workability, forgings. The alloy is food safe. The material can be used for the production of pressure equipment from -273 to 75 °C in accordance with EN 12392. It is recommended for marine applications, including shipbuilding and offshore applications (source: EN 13195). The material is intended for tanks for the storage and transportation of dangerous goods, in particular of gasoline and other liquid hydrocarbons (see EN 14286).
