1) Remark: The soft unalloyed hot dip galvanized steel for cold forming (special deep drawing grade) is produced as: DX54D+Z (plating Zn) and DX54D+ZF (plating Zn-Fe-alloy). The zinc-coating (double-sided) amounts to: 100, 140, 200, (225), (275) g/m² (parenthesis values by arrangement). Different plating thicknesses per side can be agreed. Zn-coat thickness has to be considered for weldability and reformability demands. The material is suitable for the production of complexest profile forms and deformations by drawing, stamping and spinning as well as for processing at high deformation speed on transfer presses. Application: household appliances industry, construction trade, electrical industry, car industry. The mechanical properties and the freedom from stretcher strains are warranted for a period of 6 months after provision of the products. The steel acts as substrate for organically coated strips and sheets.
