| 1) Remark: The soft unalloyed hot dip galvanized steel for cold forming (machine folding grade) is produced as: DX51D+Z (plating Zn) and DX51D+ZF (plating Zn-Fe-alloy). The zinc-coating (double-sided) amounts to: 100, 140, 200, (225), 275, 350, (450), (600) g/m² (parenthesis values by arrangement). Different plating thicknesses per side can be agreed. Zn-coat thickness has to be considered for weldability and formability demands. The material is suitable for the production of simple profile forms and deformations when deformation speed and deformation tools have only low requirements to the material. Application: household appliances industry, construction trade, electrical industry, furniture industry, car industry. The mechanical properties are warranted for a period of 8 days after provision of the products. To the freedom from stretcher strains (surface type B and C) applies a period of 1 month. The steel acts as substrate for organically coated strips and sheets. |
