1) Remark: The non-alloy steel DC06 (IF 18) is suitable for highest deformation demands and complex cold formed construction components. Products made of DC06 do not show any stretcher strains. Welding: DC06 is weldable by the following welding methods: MAG (metal-active-gas), plasma welding, laser welding, compression weld welding, resistance welding (spot, roll weld, buckle welding), arc welding. The steel acts as substrate for surface refined and coated bands and sheets. Application of DC06: construction trade, car manufacturing, traffic system. Acc. to DIN EN 10139 DC06 is offered as cold rolled band or bar, cut in strength range HK270.
