1) Remark: The non-alloy steel DC05 acc. to DIN EN 10130 is as a special deep drawing quality suitable for cold forming of complexest profile forms, construction components and molded parts. To freedom of stretcher strains applies a period of 6 months after provision of the products for surface type A and B. Welding: DC05 is weldable by the following welding methods: MAG (metal-active-gas), plasma welding, laser welding, compression weld welding, resistance welding (spot, roll weld, buckle welding), arc welding. The steel acts as substrate for surface refined and coated bands and sheets. Application of DC05: construction trade, car manufacturing, traffic system. Acc. to DIN EN 10139 DC05 is offered as cold rolled band or bar, cut in strength range HK270.
