1) Remark: The non-alloy steel DC03 acc. to DIN EN 10130 is suitable for cold forming of simple profile forms and components. Mechanical foldings are possible for thicknesses of up to 1,5 mm. To freedom of stretcher lines applies a period of 3 months after provision of the products for surface type A and B. Welding: DC03 is weldable by the following welding methods: MAG (metal-active-gas), plasma welding, laser welding, compression weld welding, resistance welding (spot, roll weld, buckle welding), arc welding. The steel acts as substrate for surface refined and coated bands and sheets. Application of DC03: household appliances industry, construction trade, car manufacturing, traffic system. Acc. to DIN EN 10139 DC03 is offered as cold rolled band or bar, cut in strength range HK270 to HK590. On welding of DC03 in condition HK290 to HK590 has to be considered the potential influence to the mechanical properties
