1) Remark: CuZn15As-C, mat. No. CC760S (former G-CuZn15, mat. No. 2.0241 acc.to DIN 1709), is a construction material with favorable seawater resistance. It is well soft and hard solderable. Processing properties: castability: very good machinability: conditionally soft soldering: good hard soldering: good gas fusion welding: good arc welding: conditionally: TIG-welding: good MIG-weding: unfavorable resistance welding: good burnishing (mech.): very good galvanizing: very good suitability for dip tinning: very good (material specification applies for G-CuZn15 acc. to DIN) Application: is used for parts to be soldered, e.g. flanges and other components for shipbuilding, machine, electrical and precision engineering, optics etc.
