1) Remark: The material G-CuPb20Sn (former identification: G-SnPbBz20) is a bearing material of favorable sliding and particularly favorable flat-running properties for absence of lubricant and at water lubrication. The material is suitable as composite cast material, it is resistant to sulfuric acid. Concerning its castability it shows worse properties than G-CuPb15Sn (2.1182). It is applicated for bearings also at higher sliding speed, for refiner, water pumps, cold and foil rolling mills. For top level loadings on good lubrication up to =4000 N/cm². For corrosion resistant instruments and castings, for highly loaded composite bearings in combustion engines, e.g. piston pin bushings with a loading up to 7000 N/cm². Processing properties: machinability: very good soft soldering: good hard soldering: unfavorable gas fusion welding: unfavorable burnishing (mech.): good galvanizing: good suitability for dip tinning: good
