1) Remark: CuNi6 is a resistance alloy. With wire, the attainable tensile strength is 250 N/mm². The resistivity is low. The resistance to atmospheric corrosion is high. The upper application temperature in air is 300 °C. CuNi6 is of good suitability for soft soldering. Application: Terminal studs, low-ohm electric resistors, heater wires, heater cables with low heating temperature.
