1) Remark: CuNi10Zn42Pb is a alloy of high strength. The strength can be increased by cold forming. A strength of F52 to F60 can be reached. No embrittlement at low temperatures. The conductivity is low. The alloy is non ferromagnetic. Better resistance to corrosion than pure Cu. The addition of Pb improve the machinability, the toughness and the cold formability are reducing. Processing properties: Hot forming: good Cold forming: poor Machinability: good Brazing/Soldering: very well TIG-welding: medium Polishability: good Application: fine mechanics, apparatus engineering, electrics and electronic, ship building, civil engineering
