CC334G (DIN EN 1982 : 1998-12) CuAl11Fe6Ni6-C CC334G DIN EN 1982 : 1998-12 DIN EN 1982 : 1998-12 replaced by DIN EN 1982 : 2008-08 Replaced Germany G-CuAl11Ni CuAl11Fe6Ni6-C 3.2 1)
1) Remark: CuAl11Fe6Ni6-C, mat. No. CC334G (former G-CuAl11Ni, mat. No. 2.0980 acc. to DIN 1714) is a construction material with high strength properties, resistant in cold and hot seawater, in industrial sewages, acids, salts and brines, except for ammonia. It is characterized by favorable fatigue strength in air and water. Its is highly resistant to cavitation, highly loadable at favorable wear resistance. CuAl11Fe6Ni6-C is suitable for friction bearings of very high shock stress as well as for crank and toggle bearings with high load peaks (p up to 2500N/cm²) (thorough lubrication required). Its high-temperature strength values are only slightly falling up to 200°C, up to -200°C increasing cold strength values (no embrittlement tendency). The material is well castable and shows low cracking sensitivity. Processing properties: castability: good machinability: conditionally soft soldering: unfavorable hard soldering: conditionally gas fusion welding: unfavorable arc welding: conditionally gas-shielded welding: good burnishing (mech.): good (Material specification applies for G-CuAl11Ni acc. to DIN) Anwendung: CuAl11Fe6Ni6-C is used as CuAl10Fe5Ni5-C (CC333G), but higher requirements to cavitation and/or wear resistance. For non-visible parts of maximum pressure instruments in hydraulics, for worm and helical gears, joint jaws and thrust nuts, Francis wheels and chaplain blades as well as for pump blade wheels, thrust nuts, switch segments, sliding plates and cylinder bushings. Application area: general machine engineering, apparatus engineering, transmission construction, precision mechanics, fitting industry, wire machine construction, hydraulics and switch engineering.
