CC332G (DIN EN 1982 : 1998-12) CuAl10Ni3Fe2-C CC332G DIN EN 1982 : 1998-12 DIN EN 1982 : 1998-12 replaced by DIN EN 1982 : 2008-08 Replaced Germany G-CuAl9Ni CuAl10Ni3Fe2-C 3.2 1)
1) Remark: CuAl10Ni3Fe2-C, mat. No. CC332G (former G-CuAl9Ni, mat. No. 2.0970 acc. to DIN 1714) is a construction material with favorable strength properties, resistance in cold and warm seawater as well as in non-oxidizing acids, saline solutions and certain brines. It is very well weldable and therefore particularly well suitable for mixed constructions of casting and wrought material. The material shows favorable abrasion resistance, sufficient stocking properties for moderate strain and good lubrication. Its high-temperature strength values are only slightly falling up to 200°C, up to -200°C increasing cold strength values. Processing properties: castability: good machinability: conditionally soft soldering: unfavorable hard soldering: conditionally gas fusion welding: unfavorable arc welding: conditionally gas-shielded welding: good burnishing (mech.): good (Material specification applies for G-CuAl9Ni acc. to DIN) Application: CuAl10Ni3Fe2-C is used for corrosion-strained parts, for instruments in aggressive water, for pitch propellers, for stem parts, flanges in shipbuilding, for construction parts for food machines, for pickling crades and contact vessels in chemical industry.
