1) Remark: 45NiCrMo16 is an oil-hardening tool steel. It achieves at least 52 HRC in hardened condition. The steel hardens fully also at higher dimensions and it shows highest ductility. Application: cutlery punches, shear cutter for goods thicknesses above 12 mm, scrap and billet shears, coining and bending tools for cold forming, drawing jaws, plastic forms.
