1) Remark: Seamless tubes of the high-temperature 14MoV6-3 are used in steam boiler and pipeline construction, pressure vessel and apparatus engineering, especially in chemical industry and power station construction at temperatures from approx. 400 °C to maximum 550 °C and simultaneously high pressures. The total load and the special scaling circumstances can decrease or increase the temperature limit. When welding it should be considered that the behavior of the steel depends during and after welding on the applied heat treatment, the preparation and execution of the welding.
