1) Remark: The free-cutting case-hardening steel shows considerably uniformer properties of the cross-section and within the melt than semi-killed free cutting steels. It shows a slightly higher machinability at relatively favorable ductility properties. According to this standard it will be delivered as levelled and bright steel sheared to length in the drawn, peeled or grinded condition.
